Should we get capital and asset taxes in NZ, the reason will probably be because people read the Herald's "Society Column", and see the photos of how some of our country's rich-listers and their friends live, and make up their minds it would be best for all concerned that these folks were downsized. On that note, lets look at the dresses for the Halloween Party of Toy "Bunch-of-Balloons" billionaire Nick Mowbray. The outfit below takes the cake - its a lady called Ms. Savage, dressed as Marilyn Monroe, with husband, Mr. Gavin Pook, dressed as John F. Kennedy, complete with bloodied head from Lee Harvey Oswald's (?) assassin's bullet. As a great fan of JFK, the outfit upsets me. Has there been a worse taste one? Maybe the folks at these parties could do with less capital, given that's how they spend it. Jackie Onassis sure wouldn't find this Kiwi "rich-lister" party amusing.
